The Cincinnati Bombardiers picked up a win at Ballpark of Cincinnati, topping the Cornwall Royals, 7-1. On the mound for Cincinnati was right-hander Keith Jong. He played a principal role in the triumph. The loss makes Cornwall 44-29.

The Bombardiers got a big hit from left fielder Justin Bobb. Facing Cornwall pitcher Mike Banks in the bottom of the fifth, Bobb pounded a run-scoring double to center. His 9th double of the season put the Bombardiers ahead, 2-0.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Jon Williams.
