5-3 Loss to Bulldogs Extends Vermont Losing Streak
Hamilton picked up a win at Emeralds Ballpark, bumping off the Vermont Milkmen, 5-3. Pitcher Bobby Carrero was a major reason the Bulldogs emerged victorious. The winner was Carrero. He threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Andrew Rogers. Steve McManus locked down his 5th save.

Hamilton used the timely hitting of Brian Parker to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bulldogs ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Feels good to get the job done," Parker said after the game.

The slumping Milkmen have lost 6 straight.
