Altergott hits 2 home runs, Leads Scorpions to Win
Scorpions left fielder Eric Altergott left his imprint on his team's 9-8 win over the Augusta Capitols. Altergott went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for Sonoma in the contest. Reliever Steve Bueno picked up the win. His record improves to 5-0. Tim Kondas, who leads the W-AA in saves with 17, took the loss. The Scorpions are now 51-23.

Sonoma used the bat of Jaime Tate to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Scorpions ahead, 9-8. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Sonoma manager Jon Williams.
