Hamilton took on Hialeah in front of a lively crowd.

The Hamilton Bulldogs faced a tough opponent in Hialeah pitcher Dustin Richards, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Firecats Ballpark by a final score of 5-1. Richards went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Bobby Carrero, now 2-2, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.1 innings.

Yoshito Nakajima delivered a big hit for Hamilton. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bulldogs ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
