The Stockton Ragin Cajuns got a magnificent effort from pitcher Casey Levy, who kept Vermont hitters in check en route to a 2-0 Ragin Cajuns win at Emeralds Ballpark. Ricardo Grados earned the save for Stockton, his 20th. The Ragin Cajuns go to 43-31, putting them third in the Western AA Central Division.

Stockton used a timely hit from Vince Austin to get the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Ragin Cajuns ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.

"Makes our job easier," said Austin, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."
