Danny Pena, who is tied for 4th in the W-AA in wins with 7, was locked in. The left-hander led the Stockton Ragin Cajuns to a 4-2 win against the Vermont Milkmen at Emeralds Ballpark. Pena yielded 1 run over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 7-5. Ricardo Grados finished the game for Stockton and earned his 19th save.

Stockton used the hitting of Walt Lepore to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Ragin Cajuns on top, 4-0. For the game, Lepore had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

In comments to the Stockton Daily, Pena admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
