Tigers Take Tight Tangle
|
The London Tigers picked up a win at Ballpark of Oklahoma City, knocking off the Cincinnati Bombardiers, 3-2. On the mound for London was right-hander Travis Gross. He played a key role in the triumph. The Tigers improved their record to 45-24 by beating Cincinnati.
London got a clutch hit from Rich Faust. The pinch hitter launched a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Faust said.
