Keys Excels, But Firecats Win
The Hialeah Firecats withstood a fine game by London left fielder Josh Keys at Firecats Ballpark, to upend the Tigers, 9-5. Keys hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. With the win, the Firecats are 19-52.

Jeremy Callis had a big run-scoring double for the Firecats in the bottom of the second inning. With Hialeah leading 4-3 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Javier Alba, who is tied for 3rd in the W-AA in wins with 8, and swatted a double to left. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Firecats ahead, 5-3.

Callis told the Hialeah Chronicle: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
