Tigers Win Nail-Biter
The Tigers grabbed a win, 3-2, at Firecats Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Hialeah pitcher Paul Lessard. Lessard went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. The Western AA Central Division-leading Tigers are 45-24.

London used the timely hitting of Ryan Caird to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Tigers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It never gets old," said Caird. "Winning, that is."
