Though he had a terrific game, Steve Bailey could not prevent his team, the Miami Boll Weevils, from absorbing a loss. London won the game, 7-6. Bailey was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. London now sports a record of 37-33.

Sam Paiva went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for London. With two out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Paiva had a clutch at-bat. Facing Miami hurler Brent Kuest, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Tigers a 7-6 lead.
