Streaking Tigercats Win Another One, 7-4
Behind a solid performance from catcher Josh Dunn, the Vail Tigercats defeated the Hialeah Firecats, 7-4. Dunn was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs for the Tigercats. Jesus Howell picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-2. He struck out 7 in 6.2 innings. Jimmy Redmond was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.

Vail center fielder Ken Guzman contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 33rd hit of the season and put the Tigercats ahead, 3-1.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Vail manager Mike Alexander.

The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Vail.
