The Hamilton Bulldogs handed the Augusta Capitols a 5-0 defeat at Mariachis Ballpark. First Baseman Ben Leonardi starred for Hamilton. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The save went to Ryan Middaugh, number 2 for him. Hamilton is in 4th place in the Western AA Central Division with a record of 39-30.

The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from right fielder Matt Lee. For the game, Lee went 2-3 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Hamilton a 2-0 lead.
