Milkmen Rally to Nose Past London
Vermont center fielder Scott Lehn was instrumental in helping the Milkmen triumph, 6-5, over the London Tigers. Lehn was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Vermont pitcher Nate Benson got the win, upping his record to 1-4. Takeya Yoshikawa got the loss. Luke Getts earned the save, his 11th, for the Milkmen.

Had Dustin Andrews not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Andrews hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Milkmen.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Andrews.

Vermont now owns a record of 30-38.
