Due in large part to first baseman Craig Kelley, the Vermont Milkmen sunk the Hamilton Bulldogs, 7-3. Kelley went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Morgan Felty earned the save for Vermont, his 1st. After today's action, Vermont sits at 30-37; Hamilton slips to 41-26.

Bubba Austin had a big 3-run home run for the Milkmen in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Vermont trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a curveball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Bobby Carrero and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Milkmen on top, 4-2.
