A 3-RBI performance from Ryan Caird, who is tied for 7th in the W-AA in total bases with 109, helped the London Tigers beat the Sonoma Scorpions, 10-4. Ricardo Alvarado earned the win to go to 5-4. He allowed 2 runs on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. The first-place Tigers lifted their record to 44-24.

The Tigers got a lift from third baseman Jose Balli, who in the top of the fourth stroked a 0-2 cutter to left for a 2-run single. It was his 43rd hit of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 6-2.
