Lewis Helps Tigercats Beat Ragin Cajuns, 8-7
The Vail Tigercats powered past the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 8-7, at Vail Grounds. Jaden Lewis provided some of the pop. Grimy belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Rich Sargent was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 11 of 13 save opportunities. The Tigercats saw their record improve to 43-25.

Joe Lilley hit a 3-run home run off Ricardo Muniz in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Tigercats ahead, 8-6. In addition to the homer, Lilley had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Lewis.
