The Sonoma Scorpions welcomed the Hamilton Bulldogs to an night game at Mariachis Ballpark.

Micah Cole, who is tied for 3rd in the W-AA in wins with 6, played a key role in a gritty 1-0 Sonoma Scorpions win against the Hamilton Bulldogs. The Scorpions have an impressive 47-17 record.

Sonoma used a well-timed hit by Rich Tangorra to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Scorpions ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I just try to put up zeroes," said Cole, "and let the rest take care of itself."
