Vail picked up a win at Vail Grounds, bumping off the Augusta Capitols, 8-5. Pitcher Dan Herbert was a major reason the Tigercats emerged victorious. Herbert picked up the win for Vail, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. Robert Hendricks recorded the save for Vail, his 17th of the season.
