The Vermont Milkmen and London Tigers put on quite a show.
The Vermont Milkmen defeated the London Tigers, 8-4, in 10 innings. Josh Taylor played a big role. Taylor was 4 for 6 with 4 singles, while adding 3 RBI for the Milkmen in the win. The Milkmen, now 28-35, have won 5 in a row.
The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Tim Royal came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing London pitcher Ruben Moralez, he hit a 1-1 curveball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Vermont on top, 6-4.
