London starter George Robertson kept the Stockton offense from doing much damage. The left-hander leaned on his forkball in leading the Tigers to a 2-1 win. Robertson got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. London, at 32-29, sits in 4th place in the Western AA Central Division.
London took a 2-0 lead on Sam Paiva's 5th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Paiva hit in the top of the ninth, left Stockton pitcher Carlos Martinez visibly frustrated.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Robertson.
