Cavalry Lose Contest, 5-3
|
The Cincinnati Bombardiers topped the St. Louis Cavalry, 5-3, at Ballpark of Cincinnati. Cincinnati right fielder Sam Frederick was a spark plug for the offense. He went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. At 33-24, the Bombardiers find themselves in first place in the Western AA Coastal Division.
Frederick contributed in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Cincinnati get the win.
Frederick said his team "played with focus."
