Scorpions Earn Late 4-3 Win
The Sonoma Scorpions faced a tough opponent in St. Louis pitcher Justin Buchanan, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of North Richland Hills by a final score of 4-3. Buchanan went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win was credited to 24-year old right-handed pitcher Shissho Matsuno in relief. His record improves to 1-4. Andy Strong took the loss. The Scorpions improved their record to 35-24 with the win over St. Louis.

Sonoma took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Nate Galloway hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Scorpions fans to their feet.
