Sea Dogs Rally to Nose Past Carolina
The Charleston Sea Dogs powered past the Carolina Reapers, 11-10, at Ballpark of Charleston. Juan Ortiz provided some of the pop. Legacy went 3-6 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. Charleston reliever Matt Schapp was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Shane Edwards. The Sea Dogs saw their win-loss record go to 33-30. At the same time, the Reapers fell to 26-37.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 17th for Charleston. That's when Nick Wisniewski hit a solo home run off 23-year old left-handed pitcher Shane Edwards to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"This game was intense," Ortiz said, postgame.
