The Vancouver Mounties defeated the San Francisco Fire, 5-4, in 12 innings in National Conference action at Mounties Field. Vancouver pitcher Ryan Heyer had a standout performance. The winner was Vancouver reliever Javier Ramos, now 3-2. The loser was Keith Hawes. The Mounties sit in second place in the National Conference West Division with a record of 34-28.

The Mounties got a clutch hit from catcher Josh Elder. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Mounties.

"I was a little disappointed," said San Francisco manager Jim Clarke. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
