Blevins Slugs Desperados to 5-3 Win
The Austin Desperados cut down the Toronto Trash Pandas by the score of 5-3, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Matt Blevins. Blevins hit 3 home runs for the Desperados. Felipe Moreno snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 1.1 innings. He's now 2-0 on the season. With the win, the Desperados have a record of 27-34.

Blevins had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a full count slider from Jesus Fernandez, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Desperados a 4-3 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Blevins.
