Henry Cortez left his imprint on the 4-3 Indianapolis win against the Dallas Dragons. Cortez, who is tied for 8th in the NC in home runs with 12, was 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times. James Gibson, credited with the save, is now 8 for 11 in save opportunities. With the win, Indianapolis pushed its record to 35-26.

Indianapolis took a 4-3 lead on Mike Dallis's 13th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Dallis hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Dallas pitcher Luis Najera visibly frustrated.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Dallas manager Edgar Puente. "But we decided not to take it."
