Whistlers Squeeze By Carolina, 4-3
The Boston Whistlers picked up a win at Whislters Park, taking down the Carolina Crown, 4-3. Starting pitcher Sam Naber was a big reason why. The American Conference Central Division-leading Whistlers have a record of 32-28.

Austin Alpers was the walk-off hero for Boston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Whistlers designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Boston manager Ben Foster called it "a darn good win."
