Adam Hicks put on a hitting clinic as the Etiwanda High School Eagles dumped the North Oconee High School Titans, 16-5, at Etiwanda High School Stadium.

The Etiwanda High School left fielder made North Oconee High School defenders earn their pay, lashing North Oconee High School pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Hicks said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Adam Hicks doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Sam Cubbage in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Sam Cubbage in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Mike Styers in the 4th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
