Hollywood left fielder Aharon Kroyan helped his team beat the Dallas Dragons, 4-1. Kroyan, who finished 3rd in the NC in slugging percentage with .476 last year, went 3 for 4 for the Stars. Andy Waring, the winner, improved to 1-0. He held the Dragons to 1 run on 6 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 4. Hollywood goes to 5-1 with the win.

The Stars picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Stars manager Geremia Farinelli.
