In a low-scoring contest, Dallas pitcher Adrian Huffine was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-1 win. Mike Braasch claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 6-3. The Dragons, at 36-23, lead by one game in their division.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the 11th, with the game tied, Jay Thibodeaux was at the plate when Dallas scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Dragons to go in front, 2-1.

"This is a very good team," said Huffine. "We have the chance to do something special."
