Oakland 6-3 Losers to Sea Turtles
The Daytona Beach Sea Turtles picked up a win at Leatherback Park, knocking off the Oakland Invaders, 6-3. Starting pitcher Jon Haynes was a big reason why. The win went to Christian Chervenka in relief, making him now 3-2. Idhma Kodandarami took the loss for Oakland. Brian Hennick got the save, his 11th in 13 chances.

Philip Couillard, who is tied for 6th in the NC in triples with 7, helped out the Daytona Beach cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 4.

"Jon -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Sea Turtles manager Ken Bennett. "He was the key to us winning."

The Sea Turtles improved their record to 75-85 with the win over Oakland.
