Scorpions Win at Cleveland, 6-3
|
The Syracuse Scorpions picked up a win at Spiders Ballpark, knocking off the Cleveland Wild Things, 6-3. Starting pitcher John Froerer was a big reason why. The victory gives Syracuse a record of 86-74.
An impactful at-bat came in the top of the fourth inning. With runners on 1st and 3rd, the batter, Matthew Anders, reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 2-1, Syracuse, and helped them go on to win.
