Caporn Now 5-1 Following 3-0 Win
|
The umbrellas came out during the Indianapolis-Maine contest at Eagles Stadium.
Rodney Caporn never let Maine get something going. The Indianapolis left-hander commanded his changeup in pitching the Eagles to a 3-0 win. Cameron Hutchinson earned his 22nd save in 26 chances.
Caporn picked up the win. He's now 5-1, after putting the Maine offense in the deep freeze. Over 7 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 2 hits.
Caporn told a Indianapolis News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
Indianapolis now has a record of 86-74 with the win.
