Pines Suffer 3-2 Road Loss
Dave Harvey, who won the Cy Young Award in 2024, had a strong outing for the Cincinnati Royals against the Maine Pines at The Castle. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Harvey yielded 1 run over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 15-14. The third-place Royals have won 4 consecutive games.

Cincinnati second baseman Mike Dallis contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a forkball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 41st hit of the season and put the Royals ahead, 3-0.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Maine manager David Whigham.
