The Cincinnati Royals got a superb performance from right fielder Gregorio Valenzuela, but the Toronto Trash Pandas still won the game, 6-5. Valenzuela was 4 for 4 with a triple and 3 singles. Toronto starter Allen Anderson was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 9-9. The Trash Pandas go to 71-88, putting them last in the National Conference North East Division.

The Trash Pandas got a big at-bat from designated hitter Paul McComas. For the game, McComas went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 35th double of the season gave Toronto a 5-4 lead.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," McComas said after the game.
