William Corrado was a vital contributor to the 5-4 Charleston victory over Oakland. The Sea Dogs catcher went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Charleston reliever Bob Baucke was the winner. His record is now 5-7. Wade McGonigle took the loss. Mario Barillas recorded the save, making him 28 for 36.

In the top of the ninth inning, Charleston got a key at-bat from Corrado. With one out, a runner on 1st and the Sea Dogs trailing 4-2, Corrado hit a 2-run home run.

"The division is still up for grabs, but I like our chances," Corrado told the Charleston Times.
