The Nightmare got a big at-bat from left fielder Ville Hinkkanen. For the game, Hinkkanen was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave New York a 3-1 lead.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Hinkkanen.
