Toronto pitcher Ryan Arntz did his part in helping his team beat the Indianapolis Eagles, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Evan Sippel earned his 20th save in 22 chances. Toronto now sits at 84-72, while Indianapolis falls to 90-66.

Catcher Travis Gwinn made an impact for Toronto, when he swatted a 2-run home run off J.R. Mitchell in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Gwinn went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Indianapolis manager Pete DuBay.
