The Oakland Invaders had to overcome a big game from Carolina third baseman Dustin Sheedy to leave Reedy River Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 4-3. Jonathan Cunningham, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2022, had a direct impact on the outcome. Cunningham contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Oakland up, 1-0.
