The Carolina Reapers racked up a win at Reedy River Stadium, bumping off the Charleston Sea Dogs, 7-6. Jimmy DeMoss, who started for Carolina, pitched effectively for his team. The win went to Jake Schmitt in relief, making him now 3-7. Mario Barillas took the loss for Charleston. The loss makes Charleston 91-64.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Carolina. That's when 28-year old shortstop Tom Krueger hit a 2-run double off Mario Barillas to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"Jimmy did what Jimmy does," said Carolina manager Felipe Arriaga.
