Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Fountain Hills 23ers and New York Nightmare.

The Fountain Hills 23ers topped the New York Nightmare, 6-4, in American Conference action at Nightmare Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Fountain Hills pitcher Sean Muzzy. Fountain Hills is now 77-78, New York 76-79.

Fountain Hills used the timely hitting of Mario Aguiluz to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the 23ers on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Aguiluz told the Fountain Hills Bulletin.
