Fleet Get Clutch Win Versus Hollywood
The San Diego Fleet picked up a win at Hollywood Grounds, dropping the Hollywood Stars, 4-3. B.J. Gonzalez, who is tied for 10th in the NC with a 3.35 ERA, was the difference-maker. The win elevated the Fleet to 94-59.

San Diego needed the clutch hitting of Dale Day to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Fleet on top, 4-3. For the game, Day had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Day.
