The Indianapolis Eagles topped the Toronto Trash Pandas, 12-1. Ray Dappen, who finished 5th in the NC in ERA with 2.96 in 2022, engineered a dominant performance. Indianapolis is now 89-64, Toronto 82-71.

Dappen ran roughshod over the Toronto lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 10. With the victory, he goes to 13-12 on the season.

"They beat us like the proverbial rented mule," said losing manager Walt DeRosier.
