Big Day for Morales as Giants Down Marauders, 8-4
|
The Philadelphia Marauders and Detroit Giants left the fans buzzing.
Behind a solid performance from catcher Jose Morales, the Detroit Giants defeated the Philadelphia Marauders, 8-4. Morales was 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Giants. Phil White was the winner. Over 6.1 innings, he yielded 2 runs on 3 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts.
