Sea Turtles Lose By a Run at Sandusky, 3-2
Sandusky turned a good effort from starter Steve Gaucher into a win over the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles at Seagull Park. The final score was 3-2. The Seagulls now have a record of 68-84.

Max Navarro dealt the Sea Turtles a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Sandusky leading 2-0, Navarro, who finished 5th in the NC in runs with 82 in 2016, hit a 0-2 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Sandusky skipper Matt Pollina.
