Detroit took a 2-0 lead on Chris Lutz's 38th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Lutz hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Dallas pitcher Gabe Calloway visibly frustrated.

"It's not about individual awards," Lutz told a Detroit Today reporter after the game. "It's about winning championships. That's what we play for."
