There was no shortage of dramatics at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark.

Pat DeChant, who finished 4th in the AC in innings pitched with 210.1 in 2024, had a strong outing for the Dallas Dragons against the Philadelphia Marauders at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Nick Kirshner, who is a two-time All-Star, was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-2. The losing pitcher was Danny Heasley.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 14th, 27-year old center fielder Caleb Langenwalter had a chance to be the hero. Philadelphia pitcher Danny Heasley wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Langenwalter hit a run-scoring single. The Dragons had themselves a thrilling win.

"This place was electric at the end," DeChant said.

The last-place Dragons hiked their record to 67-82.
