Marauders Bridle Dragons, 4-2

Philadelphia registered a win at Marauders Ballpark by beating the Dallas Dragons, 4-2. Pitcher Barry McLamb was one reason why the Marauders triumphed. McLamb, the winner, moves to 11-12. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. Chris Jacoby earned the save for Philadelphia, his 35th.
Jeremy Capra had a big 3-run home run for the Marauders in the bottom of the second inning. With Philadelphia leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Matt Schmid and swatted a home run to right. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Marauders ahead, 4-0.
"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Marauders manager Danny Ordaz.
Today's win puts Philadelphia at 73-75, while Dallas falls to 60-88.
