Giants Rally For Late Win Over Desperados
The Detroit Giants beat the Austin Desperados, 7-4, at Dell Diamond. The Giants got a fine performance from right fielder Chris Lutz, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Giants lead the American Conference North East Division by 10 games.

Detroit used a timely hit from Ryan Forsythe to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Giants ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Lutz.
