The Carolina Reapers had to overcome a big game from Hollywood third baseman Matthew Little to leave Reedy River Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 8-5. Little went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The last-place Reapers bumped their record to 62-85.

Carolina took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Blake Benigno hit a 2-run single to make it 6-4, Reapers.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Benigno.
