Huggins Leads Cincinnati Past Chicago
|
2026 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Chicago Gangsters.
Cincinnati Royals pitcher Josh Huggins was in fine form, leading his team past the Chicago Gangsters, 1-0. Wayne Harless earned his 38th save in 43 chances.
Huggins, who was born in Martinez, California, threw 96 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.
"We found a way to get it done," Huggins said.
Cincinnati is now 76-71. Chicago is 57-90.
