Dragons 7-1 Winners Versus Indianapolis
The Dallas Dragons locked up a win at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark, knocking off the Indianapolis Eagles, 7-1. On the mound for Dallas was right-hander Jonathan Allen. He played a major role in the triumph. In 6.2 innings, Allen surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. The third-place Eagles dropped to 83-63.

Carlos Rodriguez had a big solo home run for the Dragons in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Dallas leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from Nick Horrocks, who is tied for 3rd in the NC in complete games with 1, and swatted a home run to right. It was his 15th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dragons ahead, 3-1.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Rodriguez.
