The Vancouver Mounties racked up a win at Expo 67 Stadium, bumping off the Montreal Maroons, 3-1. Greg Sandlin, who started for Vancouver, pitched effectively for his team. Sandlin yielded 1 run over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 0, and struck out 4. His record improves to 12-9. Vancouver has now won 3 in a row.
