Dallas wasted a solid 7-inning effort from starting pitcher Bobby Henderson, losing to Indianapolis, 2-1, at Eagles Stadium. The National Conference North East Division-leading Eagles have a record of 82-63.

Matt Lepa drove in one run for Indianapolis. With no one out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Lepa, the 24th overall pick in the 2020 draft, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Dallas hurler Brandon Jones, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead.

"Feels good to get the job done," Lepa said after the game.
